What we collect and why
When you send an enquiry through our website, by email or on WhatsApp, we receive the details you give us: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, your travel dates, group details and your message. We use them only to answer your enquiry and, if you book, to manage your stay.
We process this information to take steps at your request before a booking and to carry out your booking. When you use a form on this site, you also give your consent by ticking the box before sending it.
Who sees your information
- Our team at Yara Lodge.
- Google (Gmail), which we use for email.
- Our website host: [TO COMPLETE: hosting provider and data-centre location].
- If you ask us to arrange surf lessons or an airport transfer, we share your name, dates and number of guests with the local provider so they can do so.
We never sell your information.
International transfers
Our email provider and website host may store data outside Morocco. [TO COMPLETE: safeguards in place / CNDP authorisation for transfers abroad]
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that don’t lead to a booking for up to 24 months, then delete them. We keep booking records for as long as Moroccan accounting and tax law requires.
Cookies
This website uses only the technical cookies it needs to work. Fonts are served from our own server, and our map is a picture that links to Google Maps, so no Google cookies are set when you browse. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies.
Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, Google Maps and YouTube take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by emailing ghita.ksikes@gmail.com. We’ll reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Moroccan data-protection authority, the CNDP (www.cndp.ma), or, if you live in the European Union, to the data-protection authority in your country.
